1. Processing of your personal data
We collect and use personal data of our users only if this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our contents and services. The collection and use of our users' personal data takes place only with the user's consent. An exception applies in those cases where it is not possible to obtain prior consent for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations or if the person has voluntarily provided us with this data and has thus instructed us to process and store it.
When you visit our website, our web servers - for the purpose of system security - store certain data by default. This data includes your IP address, the name of your internet service provider, the type and version of your browser software, the operating system of the computer with which you access our website, the website from which you visit us, the web pages you visit on our website, the date and duration of your visit and, if applicable, the search words you used to find our website. We only store this data for the duration of your visit to our website. However, the data listed are not suitable for individualising certain visitors to the website. They are evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes, whereby the individual user remains anonymous. This data is not merged with other data sources. If external service providers are used in connection with the storage and evaluation of this data, technical and organisational measures are taken to ensure that the transfer of data to these external service providers takes place in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Your personal data will only be collected, stored and processed by us if you have provided this information voluntarily (e.g. as part of the business transaction or newsletter registration) and have consented to the data processing. We process your personal data exclusively for the purposes of business transactions and to send you invitations, information and news on the topics we deal with. The legal basis of the data processing is therefore Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the performance of the contract) DSGVO.
Personal data that you have consented to be stored or that is necessary for the performance of the business relationship will only be stored for the duration of our contractual relationship or until the purpose of the data processing has been fulfilled or until you have expressly revoked your consent to the data storage.
2. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter via our website by entering your e-mail address, you confirm that you agree to receive the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted invitations, information and news on the topics we cover, we collect and process the information you voluntarily provide about your areas of interest, your first and last name and postcode. You can cancel the transmission of the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in the respective newsletter. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
3. Information, modification and deletion of data
You have the right to free information about your personal data stored by us, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of the data processing. In addition, you have the right to correction, restriction of processing, data portability and deletion of this personal data. Should you have any questions in this regard or wish to exercise such a right, you can contact us at any time. You also have the option of lodging a complaint with the data protection authority.
Unless there are necessary reasons in connection with a business transaction, you may revoke your previously given consent to data processing and data storage in writing at any time with immediate effect. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties unless disclosure is required by law.
4. Security
We will keep your data secure and take every precaution to protect your data from loss, misuse or alteration. For this reason, your data will be stored in a secure operating environment that is not accessible to the public. In addition, your personal data is encrypted during transmission using so-called Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). This means that communication between your computer and our servers takes place using a recognised encryption method, provided that the browser you are using supports this method.
5. Cookies
"Cookies" are small files that allow us to store specific information related to you, the user, on your PC or other digital device while you are visiting one of our websites. In any case, our website only uses or sets cookies in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.
Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website as well as to make our offers as convenient and efficient as possible for you.
When using or setting cookies that contain personal data or affect privacy, we obtain your consent in advance by means of your active behaviour by continuing to navigate through the "Cookie Infobox" after being informed about the use of cookies on this website and thus giving your consent to the setting of cookies.
If you do not consent to the use of cookies, certain features on this website may not display or function properly. This may limit your use of this website and adversely affect the appearance and your user experience.
You can disable cookies in your browser, limit them to certain websites or set your browser to notify you immediately when a cookie is sent. You can also delete cookies from your PC's hard drive at any time. Please note, however, that in this case you must expect a restricted display of this website and restricted user guidance.
6. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies (see description above), which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by these cookies about your user behaviour (including your IP address) is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we would like to point out that the Google Analytics code on our website has been extended by a function ("gat._anonymizelp();"), which ensures anonymised recording of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Your IP address is therefore - at our instigation - only transmitted to the Google servers in the USA in shortened form, so that anonymisation is guaranteed and no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place on the basis of legal regulations or within the framework of commissioned data processing.
By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google and to the manner and purpose of such processing as set out above.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
7. Amendment of this data protection declaration
As this information reflects the current legal situation, we reserve the right to amend this data protection declaration accordingly. By continuing to use this website or by maintaining a business relationship, you agree to be bound by this privacy policy and to keep it up to date.
